Merry Goes Rounds is a simulated branding and advertising project based on the client: NParks, with the objective of rejuvenating Singapore's parks and re-visualising them as fun recreational spaces to the local youth population. Solution: to organise a carnival that focuses on the rememorations of genuine outdoor fun, revisiting classic outdoor local attractions such as pasar malams, funfairs and merging them with the idea of park life. Approaching the project with a visually carnivalesque and earthy inspirations, the name of the carnival is titled: Merry Goes Rounds to reflect its' joyful and fun-loving persona.



Classifying local parks into 4 sub-archetypes based on their primary attractions and purposes (Adventure, Beauty, Fitness, Wildlife) highlights the all-rounded fulfilment provided for the outdoor needs of Singaporeans.





Outdoor Advertising
Several outdoor advertising including decorated bus stops, vertical banners and bus stop ads will be spread out across the country to garner public attention to the campaign.





Website
A microsite will be up for the campaign, featuring the happenings of the carnivals such as events, performances, as well as listings of carnival locations along with time and date.




Miscellaneous
Every carnival wouldn't be complete without a set of perforated tickets, as well as misc outdoor decor such as triangular buntings to greet visitors along the entrances.
