Our obsessions with social media have deluded our perception of reality, necessity and affirmations. ‘@lgorhythm’ is a false advertising project that is a commentary on that obsession. It features a fictional lifestyle-tech brand that capitalises on toxic algorithms by launching social media apps as tangible products, using the same engagement strategies as the depicted social apps to entice consumers through campaigns. The desired outcome was to have consumers realign themselves between real & digital social lives.
